first of all very honored to be in your festival
it's my first short film, made with my own means, it talks about the loneliness of a poor young man who wants to realize his dream of becoming an ACTOR in Paris but having neither contacts nor money to go to school and having a family and an entourage who criticizes his choices with closed doors is the difficulty of accessing this environment, we will see him face alone the psychological problems linked to his dream and his social conditions
What are your ambitions with your project?
develop it into a feature film after its success in international festivals around the world it was awarded at Cannes for best drama film a few days ago I would like to put it on the platform and then find a production to make it into a feature film. My ambitions have always been the best actor prize at the Oscars, all that remains is to find the producer or production company that will give me the means to achieve my ambitions.
Tell us something about your shooting? What pleasantly surprised you?
to see that I am capable of managing a shoot, I didn't go to school I learned alone in my living room, that's one of the things I'm proud of, and I also have a key scene in my film, very strong in emotions is hard to play, I was very stressed at the idea of doing it including 1 minute before the actions but the final result is quite good according to the professionals I am quite proud of that
For what group of spectators is your film targeted?
to all those who dream of creating something, to those who start from zero or below zero, to all those who want to improve their conditions and those of their loved ones, to those who life has broken but who continue to be good , to those who reproached kindness as if it were an ugly fault to those who fail a lot because they try a lot to those who are not like others to those who create their conditions to those who dare, to those who fight, who starts again, to those for whom life is not kind, to those who we do not understand, to those who resist with no means, to those who spread good, my film is made for everyone but above all for those who are not understood
Why should distributors buy your film?
because it gives hope, because it's a film made to touch a lot of people on this planet, also they had to know my story so they would understand to what extent getting there is an obsession for me, I'm very different and that's why I have been a source of criticism, of mockery, of jokes all my life, but I want to be, I am very sure of myself, that my difference is a plus for world cinema and my view on the stories that we have to tell is also different , I was born for this
How would you specify your work? What characterizes your film?
I define it as a work useful to our environment which is very often at a global level very difficult to access when one is poor, is without contact, starting from less than nothing it is the journey of the fighter to arrive at nothing is when we are at nothing it is another war that begins to achieve a few things, then what characterizes it is its authenticity, is its truth in its pure state
Why did you decided to become a filmmaker?
I find very few stories on the screen with which to identify, I have a very atypical life path and I always have this need for art, to tell something I have always had a vision of something which doesn't explain so I tried writing, games, directing but also the production of my own first film and I really got a taste for it, it's the job of my life it's my life
Who is your role model?
I don't really have a model but in acting it remains and will remain forever Mr. Denzel Washington
this actor is the only one in the world with whom I can identify traits of my character, he is so authentic in this game he impresses me and I also love it and above all what he does is what he is outside of the cinema a great actor but also a very good man
Which movies are your favorites? Why?
untouchable French film with Omar Sy in the main role this film touches me because of the authenticity of the character played by Omar Sy, it's the first time where I see in my country a character who laughs like me, laughs like me, is grace in this film I had the revelation of my life, because before that I didn't know what to do as a job I was just lost and then equalizer 2 a film whose value of the main character touches me a lot this complexity between good and the evil in each of us played out so truthfully by Denzel Washington a masterclass
Where do you look for inspiration for your films?
in my personal history, is also in what it touches me in the world is its derivatives, I am very sensitive, very observant, I like silence, everything inspires me I will defend until the end of my life the just causes is I like to tell our dilemma, our interference, our contradictions as a human because I am persuaded, we are all the same, we encounter the same emotions is that no matter who we are, where we are, is can impairs our beliefs or skin colors, our blood is red and our tears are transparent, I would like to tell this through impactful stories through the films that I make. My inspirations come from the complexity of humans but be careful, I really like the comedy

societal subjects are more preciously the psychology of humans, I like to understand the causes which make a human become kind or naughty, I think that there are 8 billion human beings on earth and I am certain that there there are 8 billion thoughts in each of us and we are far from having exploited them all
What do you consider your greatest achievement in your career?
I have made only one short film so it has met with success in different countries, different festivals and also different media around the world, I would like to make this successful short film into a successful feature film which wins at the Oscars, I am still at my beginnings so success is still far away but I work hard for it
What do you consider most important about filming?
the film crew must be professional is humanly good is coherent that everyone is happy to work together, then the equipment and production must be of size with the same vision to win the Oscar
is that everyone knows what they have to do adapts to the unexpected because a shoot is a lot of unexpected is above all having a good human leader is professional who believes in his idea is who masters it to guide everyone
Which film technique of shooting do you consider the best?
I like sequence shots, it's quite difficult to do, it has to be regulated like clockwork but the result is always stunning
How would you rate/What is your opinion about current filmmaking?
I think we need to reform certain things, having wage legality between men and women, it seems crazy that we still have to say it in 2024 but I hope that we will move forward in this direction and also better represent the minority is letting them tell their stories is breaking the clichés already installed

the shortcuts on minorities, is the menque of research in the psychology of the character otherwise I also like the aesthetic of the cutting plans is the calibration is I hate the blatant errors in the editing

very touched is sometimes shocked by the brutality of certain scenes, because I tried to approach the truth as closely as possible but I received a lot of good criticism from professionals, but also from spectators

yes, the golden femi festival in bulgaria where I have the gold prize in my category, soon the world cannes films festival is still to come the film has 34 selections in more than 20 countries is 12 prizes there are still left a few months of operation
What are your future plans in filmmaking carriere?
develop alone into a feature film I also have 2 other projects in writing, a feature film called loyale is a short film called Anhedonia
